About Maggie

Maggie is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) who emphasizes creating a strong therapeutic relationship with clients. Maggie has five years of experience counseling adolescents and families from a variety of backgrounds. She has also worked in a coaching capacity with college students, as well as with adults recovering from substance misuse. Maggie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Studies from Vanderbilt University in 2017. She continued her education at Vanderbilt University, earning a Master’s Degree in Human Development Counseling in 2020. Maggie completed additional coursework through Rowan University’s Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study program to earn her LAC in 2024. In addition to her LAC, Maggie is a licensed school counselor and works with teenagers navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationships, self-harm, goal-setting, and grief and loss. Maggie draws from a variety of evidence based approaches, with a primary focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). She believes in a client-centered approach that emphasizes a client’s autonomy and personal growth.
