About Lindsey

Lindsey is a Clinical Intern that focuses her work on compassion, empathy, and relationship building. She strives to empower her clients through their own strengths and insight to navigate stress and hardships. As a graduate student, Lindsey brings a fresh perspective and open mind to sessions. One aspect of Lindsey’s work that is crucial to her is the therapeutic relationship –that sessions are collaborative, client-centered, and facilitated through trust and commitment. Lindsey is being supervised closely by SpeakEasy therapist Shauna Harris. Lindsey received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Saint Joseph’s University and is currently obtaining her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Villanova University. Her education and experience with diverse communities in Philadelphia has not only taught her the importance of relationships, but the value of understanding others holistically. From working alongside elementary school students, people in hospice care, and men inside prison, Lindsey is passionate about helping others create meaningful change in their lives. Whether the struggles that clients face are internal or external, whether they stem from past experiences or concerns for the future, Lindsey is dedicated to meeting clients where they are at in order to establish a healthier and more fulfilling wellbeing. Lindsey’s clinical experience has been understanding and lessening clients’ anxiety and depression, as well as fostering clients’ self-esteem and confidence. She looks forward to getting to know you and working with you!
