About Shauna

Shauna is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) that is passionate about helping others improve their mental health. She uses a strength-based approach to ensure that her clients feel empowered to make a positive change in their lives. 

Shauna is SpeakEasy’s couples counselor and works with couples in-office and via telehealth. She is trained in couples counseling and has completed Level 1 of the evidence-based Gottman Method. She is continuing her work towards becoming a certified Gottman Counselor. Shauna also has experience working with children and teens on a variety of issues, including trauma, anxiety, behavioral management, intellectual disabilities, and peer/family relationships. Additionally, Shauna works with young adults (typically up to age 40) on anxiety, depression, life stressors, coping strategies, family issues, and other related concerns.

Shauna received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Widener University and her Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University.
